Lower Cape Fear Dermatology Clinic, P.A. has been providing skin care services to clients in Wilmington, North Carolina and the surrounding area since 1953. Originated  by Dr. William Phillips, the practice has always focused on providing personalized skin care for all types of skin problems as well as outpatient skin surgery for benign and malignant skin lesions. More recently Botox® Cosmetic and Fraxel® Laser procedures have been added to meet the ever-expanding need for treatment of cosmetic skin concerns such as wrinkles, sun damage, scars, moles or Seborrheic keratoses/“wisdom” spots.
Dr. Courregé joined Dr. Phillips in 1987. Dr. Phillips passed in 1995. Dr. Courregé has continued the practice at its current location. She is assisted by Physician Assistant Joleen M. Volz; MPAS, PA-C in the treatment of medical and cosmetic dermatology conditions.
Our office performs a variety of medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, diode laser, resurfacing laser, sclerotherapy to mention a few. Lower Cape Fear Dermatology also assists patients with their needs in terms of skin care products they should use at home, some of which are available for sale at our office. Our nursing and administrative staff work together with us and our patients to insure that the patients' experience is pleasant and positive.
We are very excited to have recently added the Fraxel laser to our cosmetic procedure offerings. This revolutionary new tool for rejuvenation of the skin has amazing capabilities for reversing the signs of aging with the benefit of requiring minimal downtime. It is the only resurfacing laser approved for treatment off the face. |
